- On July 15, 2002, the FAA released a public announcement in the form of a Market Survey titled "Technical, Engineering, and Management Support Services". Under this announcement, the FAA requested specific information to determine whether the competition of the technical services should be a small business set aside. A total of 19 companies responded to the market survey. An independent evaluation of the responses resulted in a non set-aside determination.
