- Description
- It is the intent of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute to upgrade government owned equipment manufactured by Vicon Motion Systems, Inc., 9 Spectrum Pointe Drive, Lake Forest, California 92630. The purchase includes: (1) the upgrade to the Vicon 612 D.S. from a Vicon 370, Part No. U612370, quantity 1 each. Specifications: the upgrade includes the datastation to link to the M2 series cameras, and 2-3 days of Training and on-site installation on site. (2) M2- Series Camera Channel for 612, Part No. VM520, quantity 7 each. Specifications: the camera has speeds up to 1000Hz. 1280 x 1024 Digital CMOS Sensor High Resolution double line scan at all speeds. Complete with Infrared or Visible Red Led strobe, lens (zoom or fixed), break-out box, cables and connectors to the 612 datastation. (3) Vicon-64 Channel A/D upgrade for 612, Part No. U612AD, quantity 1 each. Specifications: 16-bit High speed A/D converter occupies internal slot in 612 datastation and is synchronized with video data collection rates. Maximum data rate 4khz per channel. Software permits selection of active channels, data rates, gains and offsets. Special force-plate set-up window, includes 8Mb analog memory in datastation. The upgrade also includes the trade-in of seven (7) each, Vicon 60/120HZ Camera and cabling (Part No. V612RT); Vicon Real time Software for 612 Users (Part No. V612RT); one year hardware Service Contract (Part No. VHWSC); and one year Software Service Contract (Part No. VSWSC). Part numbers cited are Vicon Motion Systems part numbers. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS), 421490 Size Standard 100 employee is applicable to this requirement. This is acquisition is being conducted as a Small Business Set-Aside. Interested parties capable of furnishing the government with the products specified in this synopsis should submit two (2) copies of a proposal to the below address. The proposal shall include the business size, itemized price, shipping cost if applicable, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs), and descriptive literature of product quoted. The proposal must reference ?Solicitation Number ?NHLBI-PS-2002-112. Proposals are due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date if this synopsis of August 22, 2002 by 08:30 a.m. local time, whichever is later. All responses sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, Contracts Operations Branch, Procurement Section, Building RKL2, Suite 6042, 6701 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892-7902, Attention Deborah Coulter, Purchasing Agent. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
