- Description
- NIMA requires a database administrator proficient in the Progress database application. The database to be administered is used in the commercially available application from GELCO called Travel Manager, version 7.1a. NIMA processes 15,000 travel voucher documents annually. To allow transfer of information to the Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) systems, NIMA uses the Federal Automated System for Travel (FAST), another Progress database application. The FAST database application was developed and is maintained by Allegro Consultants. The database administrator will be required to perform maintenance on the databases associated with the functions of Travel Manager. The database administer will also export and develop queries for future integration in to the NIMA financial tools suite. Experience with these software applications and database management is required. A current top secret/SCI security clearance must be held by the individual proposed. Work shall be performed at the NIMA facility in Bethesda, MD in government furnished space. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for an award. This purchase will be made in acccordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
