DUE: 3 MAY 2002. OC-ALC/PKXDA TINKER AFB OK 73145-3015, For additional information contact Mr. David M. Deleranko/LPDBB/[405] 734-8773. Item: 0001. Master NSN: 2840-01-486-3618NZ. Master P/N: 4086868. SIZE: APPROX 36 Inches X 36 Inches X 25 Inches. PREDOMINATE MATERIAL of MANUFACTURE: Aerospace Materials. FORM, FIT, and FUNCTION: Provides the housing for the combustion chamber and diffuses the high energy, high velocity air flow to low velocity as it leaves the compressor for entrance into the combustion chamber: A Five Year Requirements type contract is contemplated with a one year basic period of performance and four one year options. The Best Estimated Quantities per year are follow: Basic 101, Option Year One: 105, Option Year Two: 106, Option Year Three: 104, Option Year Four: 103. Total Estimated Dollar Value: $15,588,709.95. Unit of Measure: Each. Applicable to: F100-PW100/200 Engine used on F-15 and F-16 Aircraft. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. Delivery: 15EA Per Month with a thrity day turnaround after receipt of the reparables. Contractor Furnished Material, (CFM), is required for this effort. The approximate issue date will be 25 FEB 2002. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Manufacturer: United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, 400 Main Street East Hartford, CT 06108-0968, (FSCM:52661 or 77445) and Techspace Aero, Route de Liers, 121, B-4041 Herstal, (Milmort), Belgium (FSCM: B1316). The production of the supplies listed requires a substantial initial investment or an extended period of preparation to manufacture. Qualification Requirements will be made available on written request. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Award will not he held in abeyance pending source approval. See Note 23. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR part 12. See Note 26. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described must be supplied by any potential offeror in the source approval package in order to substantiate that they posses the latest revision. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
