Description
NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the purchase of a Radiometric Infrared Camera System with the following key features: (1) Spectral Range, 3-5 microns (2) Detector Type, INSB (3) Detector Pixel Size, 30 X 30 microns (4) Array Format, 320 X 256 pixels (5) Integration Time,5 microseconds - 15ms (6) Standard Temperature Measurement, 0-350 degree C (7) Temperature Resolution, <25MK (8) MWIR Lens, 25mm, f/2.3, GE (9) MWIR Microscope Optics, 1X and 4X (10) Real-time radiometric data acquisition and analysis software (11) Emmissitivity compensation capability The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334413 and 499, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DOC9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 554-80150-0000-901 is on or about 08/06/02 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 08/16/02. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/GSFC Business Opportunities home page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=51 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer.
