- Description
- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to negotiate, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, sole source contracts with National Infrastructure Support Technical Assistance Consultants, Fluor Federal Services, and Emergency Response Program Management Consultants for continued Infrastructure Support Services for project management support in carrying out the statutory authorities of the Disaster Relief Act and the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, as amended. The period of performance for the current contracts expire 30 September 2002, however, FEMA requires continued coverage for six months, with two three-month options, to allow sufficient time for recompetition and phase-in of new contracts resulting from full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541330, Engineering Services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested persons should submit a description of their technical capabilities and qualifications within fifteen (15) days of publication of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contracts based on responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government.
