- Description
- Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to award firm fixed-price contracts for pack and crate services of personal property in the San Diego area. The procurement is for inbound and outbound moves. The NAICS code is 484210. The SIC is 4214 (local trucking with storage). Small Business Size Standard is $21.5 million. The period of performance is 01 January 2003 through 31 December 2003, plus one one-year option period. The resulting contracts will be a fixed price, requirements type with delivery order provisions. The Government plans to make two awards, one for the in-bound and one for the out-bound services. The estimated quantities will be specified in the solicitation. This procurement will be conducted as a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. It is anticipated that the s olicitation will be available by 23 August 2002 on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link below. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced web link frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The Government will not issue paper copies of these documents. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is mandatory for offerors (see CCR information on web link http://www.ccr2000.com/). Numbered note number one applies.
