- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation F02601-02-T0130 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under North American industry classification system code 561110, standard industrial classification code 7349, size standard $12 million. SERVICE TO BE ACQUIRED: (V) Facility Monitor during the weekends from 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs Saturdays and Sundays. Access responsibilities include opening and closing BTES facilities for weekend use. Equipment control responsibilities involve monitoring audio-visual, computer and other support equipment use IAW established procedures. Contract start date is 1 October 2002 thru 30 September 2003. Must be capable of performing light physical duties such as moving and setting up audio-visual equipment, moving tables and chairs, and other routine daily maintenance functions. Must be capable of operating computer hardware and peripherals (speakers, headphones, etc) commonly used government software programs (mainly Windows 2000, NT and Power Point). Expertise in Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint is highly desirable. Must possess and be willing to use personal transportation to meet responsibilities of position. Must be available to work evenings, Monday through Fridays. Previous experience in providing building and equipment support on military installations and residence in close geographic proximity to ESC facility to allow timely support on an on-call basis is preferred. The government reserves the right to award to the "other than low" offeror, if it is in the Government's best interest. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Commercial Items with its offer. (XI) Clause Representations and Certifications- 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XVI) Quotations are due to the 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S. Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707, by 9 August 2002, 1500 local time. Arrange this with the POCs listed in XVII.
