- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management Systems (FAAAMS), The FAA Western-Pacific Region hereby announces its intention to solicit a Request for Offers (RFO). This is a Socially Economically and Disadvantaged Business (SEDB) 8A-certified set-aside project therefore you are required to provide a certification letter from the Small Business Administration (SBA). Awards resulting from the RFO will be based on Best Value to the FAA giving consideration to: (1) Total Cost to the FAA, and (2) Offeror?s past performance and experience with the same or similar work. (3) Acceptance of project as stated in the RFO and FAA terms and conditions. The successful offeror shall furnish all necessary labor, and materials in the performance of Janitorial Service at the Federal Aviation Administration, Northern California Terminal Radar Approach Control,in Mather California. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this project is 56172. Request for a Solicitation package must identify the solicitation number and must be requested via facsimile (310) 725-6843 or in writing. VERBAL OR TELEPHONIC REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED, however, if you have questions contact Brian Edwards at (310) 725-7545. A request for a solicitation package must be received no later than August 9, 2002. Any request for a solicitation received after this date, regardless of how transmitted, will not be honored. The solicitation for this project will not be issued until the closing date of this announcement to ensure equal response time. The FAA may make an award without communications or negotiation; however, communications and/or negotiations may be conducted to determine the best value to the FAA.
