Description
Outreach, Admissions and Career Transition Services in all workforce investment areas in the States of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington for eligible individuals participating in the Job Corps program. This contract includes recruitment of individuals for the Job Corps program as well as providing post-center transition services to eligible program participates. Contractor will work in conjunction with Job Corps centers to serve youth 16-24 years old. The RFP will be available on the World Wide Web on August 16, 2002, at http://www.fedbizops.gov and http://wdsc.doleta.gov/jobcorps/schedule.html. It is anticipated that the resultant cost-reimbursable, fixed fee contract will cover the period from April 1, 2003 to March 31, 2004, with four (4) Governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The contractor will provide outreach and admission services for 2,560 male students and 1,425 female students annually. In addition, the contractor will provide post-center transition services for 3,585 youth annually. The Contracting Officer will hold a pre-proposal conference at 9:00 a.m. on September 4, 2002, at Room 720, 1111 Third Avenue, Seattle, Washington. It is recommended that interested parties download the RFP from either of the internet addresses shown above prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. If unable to download the RFP from either site please contact Ron Daitoku on 206-553-7938, x8062 and ask that a copy be mailed. A limited number of printed RFPs will be available at the conference. This procurement will be a full and open procurement and will require a combination of written and oral proposals. The closing date for receipt of written proposals is expected to be October 18, 2002, at the following address: U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps, Suite 800, 1111 Third Avenue, Seattle, Washington 98101.
