- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order with Getinge Castle, for the purchase of the following items: 2 each Model 533 HC Micro Computer Controlled Steam Sterilizer (#51SVUMHRC*AA); 2 each third shelf for chamber (#DSY61301608608); 2 each uninterrupted power supply (#DSY61301602038); 2 each auto blowdon 4 internal steam gn (#DSY61301608356); 2 each boiler control safety device (#DSY532318); 2 each biosign steam sterilization starter package w/21 well incubator (#61301600051); 6 each biosign biological indicators (#61301600022); 6 each daily performance monitor (#61301660873); 4 each steam sterilization integrator (#61301858261); 4 each steam indicator tape (#61301600034); 4 each thermal printer paper (#61301603762); 4 each 21 x 21 door gasket chamber (#61301608228); 1 job, pre-installation work for two model 533 HC sterilizers by Biomedical Technologies LTD; 1 job, shipping to Port of Spain, Trinidad. Getinge Castle is the only known source locally (Republic of Trinidad) for this equipment and that can provide the required pre-installation. This requirement was issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and there is no solicitation available. A written quotation will be used in awarding the purchase order. The estimated date of award of the purchase order is August 19, 2002, with an estimated delivery date within six months. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 421440.
