- THIS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IS BEING MODIFIED TO SHOW A $30.00 FEE IS BEING REQUIRED PER SOLICITATION AND THE RESPONSE DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO SEPT. 13, 2002. If you have sent a request prior to this date,(August 5,2002) Please send a check, Made out to: (USDA FOREST FOREST SERVICE). This construction project,located of the Bass Lake Ranger District,Sierra National Forest consists of the reconstruction of an approximate 30 unit campground facility. Clearing, excavation, demolition of existing facilities, installation of two 2-unit flush toilets, and 4-unit flush toilet, site plumbing and hose bib installation, scarifing and pulverizing existing roadway and parking spurs, placement of aggregagate base course, placement of Hot Bituminous Asphalt plant mix on roadway and parking spurs, painted traffic markings and stripping, gate installation, construction of concrete accessible trail, construction of trail bridge, installation of 18-inch CMP, reconditioning of existing drainage structures and channels, construction of trash enclosures, construction of single unit camp sites and accessible camps sites with installation of tables and metal fire grills, construction of masonry block steps and walls with pipe railing and metal posts and dump station reconstruction with paving.
