- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex intends to contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, sole source to Gow-Mac Instruments. This requirement will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13.5, "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number applicable to this requirement is N00181-02-Q-E036. The applicable NAICS classification is 334512 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The item is as follows: Hydrogen Analyzer, Binary Gas Analyzer for Analysis of H2 in N2; Gow-Mac Model 20 Newport 20 Series Gas Analyzer, Quantity is 3 each. Quote shall be FOB Destination. Inspection and acceptance is at Destination. FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), and (24) applies. DFAR 252.212.7000, 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, and DFAR 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), and (24) applies. DFAR 252.212.7000, 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, and DFAR 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION applies to this acquisition. Lack of registration in the CCR database can make an offeror/quoter ineligible for award. Info can be obtained through the internet at www.ccr.gov. Offer must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offer Representation and Certification--Commercial Items and DFAR 252.212-7000. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their quote in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. company letterhead, formal quote form, etc.) but must include the following (1) complete mailing/remittance addresses; (2) prompt payment discounts; (3) anticipated delivery; (4) name of manufacturer you are quoting; (4) taxpayer identification number; (5) all completed certifications as required herein. All quotations must be received by 2:00 PM local time 15 May 2002.
