Description
The Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Viatronix. Govworks/DOI intends to issue a Purchase Order in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This non-competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the Department of Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Telemedicine Directorate. The medical center has a requirement for an automated virtual colonoscopy to provide medical imaging diagnostics. This technology provides health care officials with a non-invasive, easy to use, time saving method to perform colonoscopies. This system provides a breakthrough in medical imaging diagnostics developed by Viatronic. This is the only system that provides DICOM 3-D viewing of the colon. The system must be able to take spiral CT images are then taken in seconds after inflating the colon with carbon dioxide introduced through a small rectal tube. Will yielding one-millimeter resolution in the plane directions with contrast between the colon wall and the lumen. Creates a 3-D colon reconstruction and computer graphics of the colon as the provider navigates through it. Provide automatic Segmentation and Centerline Extraction. Provide study not more than 15 minutes per patient. Provide the capability of bowel cleaning if patient did not completely flush the system. Furnish the health care with automatic and interactive navigation. Include 100% Lumen Coverage and Verification. Incorporate measurement tools to determine size. Provide the ability to use transparent rendering mode. Allow 3-D and 2-D synchronized views. The system shall be CT compatible with existing Government owned Spiral scanner. Maximum spiral (helical) scan time at 100MA: 60 seconds or higher. Field of view: 48cm or greater. Single-slice scanner: Ability to acquire 60 slices (5mm at 2.0 pitch) in 30 seconds (average breath hold) or less. Detector rotation speed of less than 0.5 second/rotation. Collimator gap ranges from 3 to 7 mm. Pitch value varies from 1.0/1.0 to 2.0/1.0. Multi-slice scanner: ability to acquire 60 slices (2.5mm at 2.0 pitch) in 15 seconds or less. Provide the ability to reconstruct images at 1mm intervals. Slice reconstruction time of 0.5 second or less is recommended. DICOM capable (3.0 or higher): ability to push images out to network in DICOM format. Equipment: V3-D Viewer, 1.7 GHz Dual Pentium 4 Processors, 1 GB memory, High end PC graphics card, 18 GB hard drive, 20 GB Patient Data Drive, CDRW/DVD, 21" color monitor, HP Color business inkjet printer, V3-D-Processor, 1.7 GHz Dual Pentium 4 Processors, 1.5 GB Memory, 18 GB Hard drive, Modem, CDRW/DVD, 17" Color monitor. The Contractor shall provide the Government with access to telephone support for the Software 24/7-24 Hour Coverage 36 Months V3D-Processor - 24 Hour Coverage 36 months V3D-Viewer. The contractor shall provide a warranty for a period of three years. The system will perform substantially in accordance with Documentation and operational specifications. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
