- The USDA, Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Livestock and Seed (LS&S)Program, Room 2628 South Building, 14th and Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC intends to procure10 classes in ISO 9000 Lead Auditor Training. Submit faxed quotations to "Purchasing Section," at (612) 370-2136, Attention Gloria Benson. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE JUNE 14, 2002, BY 11:00 a.m. Local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be uses as well as commercial item acquistion regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitaiton document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-06. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION FOR CONSIDERATION. All offers must be signed. Offers should include tax payer indentification number _____________________ DUNS number___________________________ and business size_____________________________. SPECIFICATIONS: The contractor awarded the ISO 9000 Lead Auditor Training project will provide training which will include: Knowledge and Skills to become ISO Lead Auditors, Techniques of the audit cycle, understanding of the ISO 9000 Standards, Audit Management and ANSI-RAB accreditation exam, provide an instructor,provide ISO, ANSI-RAB accredited 36 hours of Lead Assessor Training, provide in-house training at facilities secured by AMS management and adapt a learning program to meet AMS program business practices. Vendors should submit a history of ability to provide training. The Agricultural Marketing Service estimates training will extend over four (4) years, from FY 02 to FY 05. Approximately one half of the training will be completed in FY 02 and FY 03. The training will last for a total of 36.5 hours in a 4 1/2 weekday period at 10 different locations.
