- Description
- This is a Request for Information (RFI only). Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) PrISMS, in support of Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), is conducting a research of current industry capabilities and methodologies for a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) ?Learning Content Management System? (LCMS) software solution. The attached Word document ?Attachment A? contains general system and user requirements and a list of features and functions required/desired by CSC and CSC requests technical feedback from industry by 23 August 2002 of how a vendor?s product meets or exceeds, fails to meet, or provides additional functionalities not listed, in the overall areas contained in the attachment. It is requested that vendors provide a technical response that follows the outline of the attachment along with vendor brochures and general pricing information (i.e., server licenses, concurrent or named user licenses, site licenses, and current commercial pricing). Information may be mailed to: CSC PrISMS, building 4471, Room 220G, MSFC, AL 35812, Attn: Tom Antoniel or e-mail w/attachments to: tom.antoniel@msfc.nasa.gov. For subscribers to the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) who wish to obtain the relevant Word document, access said information at http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=62. Information gathered in response to this RFI will be used to make a determination whether or not to pursue a formal solicitation for fulfillment of NASA?s eLearning needs. This RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by CSC nor will CSC pay for the information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. Any questions regarding this announcement should be made to the identified point of contact. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS; THEREFORE, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in the CBD and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS Web-site). It is the potential offerors' responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
