- This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13 with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The applicable solicitation number is N00181-02-Q-0613. The NAICS classification is 335314 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is set aside for small business. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced award for the following item: ITEM 0001 - Vacuum system, Vector Titan M or equal. Specifications are as follows: vacuum loader, positive displacement, capacity, airflow at given static pressure (cfm/in-hg) 2300/27; Vector Technologies, Titan M616 or equal. Unit shall be capable of stated air flow at given static pressure. Positive displacement blower; pulse air cleaned with pleated cartridge filters, capable of 500-ft. maximum conveying distance, 12 tons/hr. 275 gpm, inlet adapter bushing, 5" x 4"; 150-HP; electric, 440 volt, 3 phase, skid-mounted, Provisions/accessories: (2) ea vacuum hose, 4 in. blue carbon, urethane lined with quick disconnect couplings, 50-ft sections; (1) ea Wye Adapter, 4" id x 2.5" x 2.5"; (1) vacuum hose, 2.5-in., black carbon with bulk nozzle attachment, 50-ft. sections. All items under this quote shall be FOB Destination, NNSY Portsmouth, VA 23709. Inspection/Acceptance shall be at Destination. FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), and (24) apply. DFAR 252.212.7000, 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, and DFAR 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION applies to this acquisition. Lack of registration in the CCR database can make an offeror/quoter ineligible for award. Info can be obtained through the Internet at www.ccr.gov. Offer must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offer Representation and Certification--Commercial Items and DFAR 252.212-7000. Offer shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses, and provisions. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their quote in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. company letterhead, formal quote form, etc.) but must include the following (1) complete mailing/remittance addresses; (2) prompt payment discounts; (3) anticipated delivery; (4) name of manufacturer you are quoting; (4) taxpayer identification number; (5) all completed certifications as required herein. All quotations must be received by 2:00 PM local time 09 August 2002.
