- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for 5 each forged rings (39 inches outside diameter, 27 inches inside diameter, 11 inches long) and 5 each forged rings (39 inches outside diameter, 27 inches inside diameter, 7 inches long) in accordance with Federal Specification QQ-N-281. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. Delivery desired within 90 days of contract award. The 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 332111), commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 15 August 2002 with a closing date 14 days thereafter. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to jennifer_e_santiago@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same.Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
