Description

DESC:The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and issue a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract for delivery of approximately 228 aircraft interface integrated Electronic Air Speed/Altitude Sensors as well as an option to procure a quantity of approximately 42 Air Speed Sensors in support of the T/AV-8B Escape Improvement Program. The applicable NAICS is 334419/SIC is 3679.The size standard is 500 employees. Delivery will be FOB destination and the first delivery shall be within 150 days of contract award. The EAAS assembly shall have a two-year warranty. The EAAS part number is:100068 and will be provided in various quantities. The Government intends to negotiate this contract on a sole source basis with Harco Laboratories, Incorporated 186 Cedar Street, Branford, CT 06405. This contract is to be issued under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c), (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts, shall consider responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
