Description

Marble Bluff Dam Security Fencing; Marble Bluff Dam Fish Passage Facilities is located approximately 3 miles northwest of Nixon, Nevada, in Washoe County on the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. As a result, this procurement is a Simplified Acquisition; therefore, in accordance with FAR 52.219-6 "Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside", offers are solicited only from small business concerns. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 235990. The principal components of the work to be performed include the following: furnishing and installing 1655 lineal feet of new 7 foot high chain link fence with barbed wire, 120 lineal feet of 42" high chain link fence, 7 double swing gates, and additional miscellaneous work. Solicitation 02SI202047 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 8, 2002. The estimated date for receipt of bids is September 16, 2002. Furthermore, the estimated date for the site visit is scheduled for the week of August 26, 2002. Details concerning the site visit and how to register will be in Section L of the solicitation. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at the above site, with the drawings being mailed to you by hardcopy. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed with the exception of the drawings.
