Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Indian Education = Programs (OIEP), Division of Contracting & Grants intends to negotiate = on a sole source basis with the University of New Mexico for providing = Instructional Services on-site at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic = Institute (SIPI), which also include textbooks. SIPI offers a core = curriculum that should articulate with the core curriculum of the = Institution providing the instructional services. This curriculum = should guarantee that students would not lose credit hours when = transferring them over to the Institution. The institution should be = able to offer a wide range of courses and a faculty that represents a = diverse range of academic disciplines with full-time faculty on the main = campus holding an earned doctorate and other professional degrees. This = requirement will be purchased under the Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite = Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Delivery Orders will be issued upon knowing = which courses will be offered. The NAICS code is: 611310 with a size = standard of $6,000,000. There is no solicitation regarding this sole = source synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and = capability to respond to the requirement. Only written responses = received by 3:00 p.m. MST, May 24, 2002 will be accepted. The = Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in response to = this notice. See note 22 (Sole Source Award). Note 22 modified to read = 5 days in lieu of 30 days.
