- NA The work in the base bid will consist of care and control of water; clearing and grubbing; excavation of approximately 340,000 CY of earth for the improved channel; construction of drop inlets and low water crossings; construction of multiple box culverts under 75th East Avenue (Conrad Farms), Riverview Avenue, and Mingo Road; asphalt road reconstruction at Riverview Avenue and Mingo Road; relocation of 6 water and 2 force sanitary sewer lines; turfing and tree plantings. Bid options will consist of additi onal work for care and control of water for the new Bixby Creek channel constructed by ODOT's contractor at Memorial Drive (US 64) and a pedestrian bridge to span the new Bixby Creek channel adjacent to the Bixby Public School's property. The work area wi ll extend from 151st Street downstream to the Arkansas River, excluding approximately 210 feet at Memorial Drive (US 64) as that portion of the channel will be constructed by ODOT's contractor. The length of the channel project is approximately 3 miles. Estimated cost range of this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on/or about August 26, 2002, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans, sp ecifications, and planholders lists will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
