- The response date for submission of proposals is 30 August 2002. All prospective offerors are highly encouraged to attend the site visit to be conducted on 8 August 2002 at 0900hrs, at the 11th Contracting Sq., Bldg 5681, 2nd Floor Auditorium, Bolling AFB DC. All offerors who would like to attend the site visit must submit their request for Base Passes in writing, via email (POC: susan.starks@bolling.af.mil) NO LATER THAN Wednesday, 7 August 2002. Requests must include company name and all personnel planning to attend site visit, to include social security numbers. NO late submissions or additional personnel (add-ons) will be accepted after 7 August 2002 due to base security requirements. Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and all other items and services necessary to perform Preventive Maintenance for Over Head Garage Doors at Bolling AFB, Washington DC. Work includes, but is not limited to: Two inspections per year, Service Calls, Emergency Calls, and Replacement parts. Statement of Work, Wage Determination, and Bid Schedule will be provided during the site visit. The base period of performance will be from 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, with four one-year option periods. A contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the Statement of Work and provides the best value to the Government based upon evaluation of past performance and price. An award may be made to a firm offering other than the lowest price. The Government intends to award without discussions therefore, offeror's initial proposals should contain the offeror's best terms. This requirement is set aside exclusively for SMALL BUSINESS. The applicable NAICS Code is 332321 and the corresponding size standard is $6.5 million. The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 9 August 2002. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posed on the Electronic Posting System/Federal Business Opportunities at www.eps.gov. No paper copies will be furnished. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and downloading the solicitation, amendments, and all documents. Interested offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) in order to receive a contract award.
