- SYNOPSES OF QUOTE F48608-02-Q-0022 Maintain Detached Garage Roofs at H-01 & O-01 MAF's This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 233320 as well as the Standard Industry Code (SIC) of 1541. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, and HUBZone certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. This project consists of providing all labor, materials, supervision, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation and equipment necessary to remove, repair and replace the roofs of two detached garages located at Missile Alert Facilities (MAF's). One (1) located in Cheyenne County Nebraska and one (1) located in Weld County Colorado. The work includes demolition of existing roofing, roof appurtenances and roofing paper. The roof sheathing will be inspected and repaired as required. The contractor will then install new aluminum rake and drip edge trim, new asphalt saturated paper, new asphalt roofing shingles, new pipe vent cones, new roofing shingles roof cap, new double-wall stainless steel furnace vent. The garages will be accomplished in sequential order. The performance period for the resultant construction contract award as a result of this solicitation is twenty (20) calendar days per roof. Total performance period is forty (40) days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the proposal closing date. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or before 9 August 2002, with a closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. A site visit will be conducted 20 calendar days after issuance of the Request for Quotation. The MAF's are restricted access facilities. For advance planning purposes, offerors wanting to attend the site visit must provide required identification information no later than two weeks prior to the site visit. Details on required information will be provided in the Request for Quotation. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) -lowest price.
