- Description
- The contractor shall provide services specific to the development and execution of the Test Pilot School (TPS) curriculum. The contractor shall have experience, education, and credentials suited for the specified services. TPS will provide direction and resources required to perform these services. Contractor shall be a graduate of a military test pilot school, have five years experience in flight test of advanced military weapon systems to include performance, flying qualities, and systems flight test. Contractor must have current Federal Aviation Administration Second Class Medical Certificate, current (Flight Review) Federal Aviation Administration commercial pilot certificate with glider rating, current FAA flight instructor certificate with glider rating, 500 hours of pilot experience in glider class aircraft.
