- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to upgrade the HVAC system in building #21 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. The shall include but not limited to removal of existing airhandlers, piping, controls and related equipment from the 6th floor penthouse of building #21. Installation of new air handlers and HVAC equipment, ductwork, mixing boxes, ATC controls and related equipment. In addition renovation of 4th floor building #21 will include new casework, plumbing, upgrade of electrical systems, including the replacement of electrical substations, new flooring, suspended ceilings, etc. A walk-thru will be held on 08/19/02 @10:00 am interested parties should come to Engineering Service Bldg. #5 The NACIS (North American Industry Classification System) code is 233320 for this project; completion time for this project is 210 calendar days. This project is full and open competition but does include a 10% price evaluation adjustment for Small Disadvantaged Businesses. Request for bid packages must be submitted in writing accompanied by a non- refundable check in the amount of $100.00 made out to the VA Medical Center prior to receiving the package. The estimated cost range for the project is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. Packages will be available tentatively by 08/9/02.
