Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Cumberland, Maryland, intends to award a non-personal service contract to a contractor for Continuing Education Services for the inmate population housed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Cumberland, Maryland, under Request For Quotations 405-0009. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; provide expertise in teaching a variety of classes including GED, ESL and computer and business type courses, securing qualified instructors and quest speakers from the community, identify instructional materials for purchase, act as a liaison between community organizations and the government for the purpose of establishing appropriate adult continuing education activities. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The contract period shall include a base year, not to exceed 12 months and four one year option periods. The anticipated date of solicitation issue is August 19, 2002, with an anticipated quote due date of September 17, 2002.
