- Description
- The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute intends to negoitate on a non-competitive basis with Spectra-Physics 1335, Terra Bella Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94039, to purchase an on-site maintenance service agreement for the Spectra-Physics, Inc., Laser System, model 2060-10-SA, serial number 361 and the Spectra-Physics, Laser System, model 204SE-20/5.0S, serial number 442E. The maintenance service agreement shall include; travel, labor, parts (excluding consumables), and two (2) preventive maintenance visits annually and engineering change order (ECO) reliability updates. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS), 811219 Size Standard $6.0 employee is applicable to this requirement. The Small Business Set-Aside dose not apply. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement. Responses to this announcement, referencing synopsis number NHLBI-PS-2002-103, may be submitted to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, Contracts Operations Branch, Procurement Section, Building RKL2, Suite 6042, 6701 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892-7902, Attention Deborah Coulter, Purchasing Agent. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
