Description
This notification cancels IFB CC-02-11 ?Reverse Auction for Trashcan Liners and Plastic Bags for the Housekeeping and Fabric Care Department of the Clinical Center?, which was originally synopsized on May 16, 2002 and modified by synopsis on June 4, 2002. Additionally, this synopsis will serve as the presolicitation notification of the electronic reissuance of this requirement(with the requirement for paper bags deleted) on or about August 2,, 2002 (closing date for initial bid responses is approximately 20 days thereafter-) under IFB CC-02-17 for ?Reverse Auction for Trashcan Liners and Plastic Bags for the Housekeeping and Fabric Care Department of the Clinical Center. This procurement is a total small business set-aside and the products being offered MUST be manufactured by Small Business Manufacturers. The NAICS codes for this procurement is 326111-500 employees or less. AWARD OF THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE MADE ON AN ALL OR NONE BASIS. THIS MEANS THAT ANY VENDOR?S RESPONSE TO THIS IFB WHICH OFFERS TO PROVIDE ONLY SOME, BUT NOT ALL OF THE ITEMS, WILL BE DETERMINED NON-RESPONSIVE AND NO FURTHER CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO THAT VENDOR. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery (requirements) type contract will be awarded for a period of one year with four 12-month option periods. ONLY THOSE VENDORS WHOSE PRODUCTS ARE DETERMINED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MEET ALL OF THE SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS CONTAINED IN THE SUBJECT IFB AND ADDITIONALLY WHOSE INITIAL BID SUBMISSION COMPLIES FULLY WITH ALL IFB REQUIREMENTS, WILL BE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE REVERSE AUCTION. NO PRICING IS TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE INITIAL RESPONSE TO THIS IFB. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR IFB CC-02-17 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
