- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to solicit for the removal of an asphalt parking lot to be replaced with concrete, and the pouring of a new concrete RDA road on prepared gravel RDA road in accordance with Government specifications and drawings. Work is to be performed at the National Weather Service Office located at 920 Armory Road, Goodland, Kansas 67735-9273. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, disposal, supervision, coordination, equipment and services necessary to complete the work. After award of a purchase order, the contractor shall have fourteen (14) days to excavate, prep the aggregate base course and pour concrete after construction starts. The contractor shall have forty-five (45) days to complete the project. The contractor is responsible for disposal of all excavated materials off the Government site. All contractors interested in receiving a copy of the Request for Quotation shall submit a request in writing to the attention of Jackie Shewmaker. Facsimile requests will be accepted at (816) 426-7530. This purchase will be made under the guidelines of FAR, part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 235710.
