- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Training and Development Branch, Riverdale, Maryland, is seeking small businesses capable of providing a variety of clerical recruitment, training, placement, and evaluation services. The primary focus of the contractor will be to design, develop, deliver and evaluate a three-phase training program named Project Achieve. The project will run on an ongoing basis, with three 12-week programs a year. Each 12-week program will train and equip eight (8) high potential support/clerical employees for placement in APHIS and GIPSA, Riverdale, Maryland and Washington D.C. offices. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside and will result in a multi year contract with a base and two option periods. This is a firm-fixed price contract. It is anticipated that the formal Solicitation/Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted to the USDA, APHIS, Minneapolis, World Wide Web Site at www.aphis.usda.gov/mpls/contracts/cbd.html on or about August 19, 2002. The Government intends to provide the solicitation (its attachments) and all amendments via this web site only. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE QUOTER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES.
