- Description
- The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Mesa Associates, Inc.under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-02-JMT-0196. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for Other Direct Costs on a Schedule buy for Redstone Arsenal, AL. This order covers a five year period depending upon availability of funds. The contractor will provide technical expertise for the Product Improved M77 Dual Purpose Improved Conventional Munition (DPICM) Testing Program in the areas of tooling, development, testing, production and systems engineering. The contractor shall provide support in design, test and analysis activities associated with improving the program. This portion of the procurement is being issued off of Mesa Associates, Inc.'s schedule contract. The Other Direct Costs are for incidentals in support of this procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All information received by close of business, 8/7/2002 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
