Description
NAICS: 541710. The SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego intends to procure, as a 100% small business set-aside, technical and engineering services to conduct investigations; conduct analyses; and develop prototype algorithms for such areas as the Full Spectrum Processing Program (FSP), the Advanced Development Systems Program (ADS), and the Web Centric Anti-Submarine Warfare Network (WeCAN) project.. A single indefinite delivery - indefinite quantity, award term type contract with cost plus fixed fee pricing is anticipated to be awarded under the resultant solicitation. The requirement consists of a five year base period and 8 possible six month award terms for a total possible contract length of 9 years. It is estimated that 158,850 manhours will be expended during the base period and 26,450 manhours will be expended during each of the 6 month award terms. Place of performance is anticipated to be at the contractor's site and approximately 10 to 25% on-site at SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego. The actual place of performance will be specified on individual task orders. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer that will be considered. The request for proposals (RFP) will be posted on or about 9 September 2002 on the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central Business Opportunity Page. The response date will be identified within the RFP.
