- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Applied Coherent Technology Corporation, Herndon, VA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement, in accordance with a Statement of Work, describes the upgrade of the existing NAVOCEANO Warfighters Image Processing Environment (WIPE) system, to include new features introduced since the last upgrade, compressions of UNISIPS files for transmission to NAVOCEANO for processing, and decompression/reconstruction of files at the WIPE server at NAVOCEANO. The resulting contract is anticipated to be fixed price, level of effort, with completion anticipated within 45 days from date of award. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
