Description

This RFP is for Grounds Maintenance Services. Set aside as 8a competitive for South Carolina qualified contractors. Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision for providing grounds maintenance at areas under the control of the Naval Weapons Station Charleston, Tenant Commands and other Federal Government facilities locaed in the TRI-COUNTY area by means of a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity contract. The contractor is responsible for grass cutting, edging, pruning, mulching, fertilization, trash and litter collection and disposal, ditch cleaning, fence line maintenance, raking, tree and stump removal, erosion control, irrigation, grassing, sodding, and other miscelleous services. The use of herbicides to accomplish certain grounds maintenance functions may be permitted if approved by the Contracting Officer in accordance with all the terms of the contract.
