- The work includes providing and installing custom built wood overhead sectional doors including related hardware and operators and custom wood swinging doors with related hardware. The doors used in this project shall b custom built so that the front faces of the door duplicate the architectural appearance of the existing historic rail and stile flat panel doors. The replacement overhead sectional doors shall be constructed of wood and detailing on existing doors such as the stop chamfer around the interior of each panel shall b duplicated in the reproduced doors. The size, number and configuration of panels shall be as shown in the construction drawings.An experienced firm in manufacturing sectional overhead doors is required.This procurement will be conducted as a "Best Value"procurement and contractor will be evaluated on experience past performance and price.Solicitation will be available O/A 8/12/02 electronically at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. the magnitude of this job is between $25,000 and $100,000.
