Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36; Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request For Quotations (RFQ) for resurfacing entrance roadway and parking lots at Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge, located in Boqueron, Puerto Rico, in accordance with USFWS specifications and drawings. The proposed contract is not a small business set-a-side in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Size Standard is $27.5 million. The NAICS code is 234110. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. RFQ scheduled issue date is 8/26/02. RFQ scheduled closing date is 9/20/02. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued, with a performance period of 60 days. Anticipated award date will be on or about 09/26/02. Request for RFQ shall be in writing, stating RFQ number 401812Q098, complete company name and address, point of contact, area code and telephone number, and facsimile number.
