Description
NA This synopsis is published for information purposes only. The United States Army Communication and Electronics Command (CECOM) intends to procure a sole source acquisition, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(B)(1), with Rugged Information Technology Equipment Corporation (RITEC), 940 Enchanted Way, # 105, Simi Valley, California, 93065. Only RITEC has the technical data, expertise, and experience for performing the services required. The procurement will consist of the upgrade and repair of the AN/TPQ-36/37 FireFinder Radar Sets Line Printer. Currently these printers use electro-sensitive printing paper. Under this proposed effort, the FireFinder line printers will be upgraded to use safer and less expensive thermal sensitive paper. The paper pinch-take-up reel assembly will also be upgraded. Printers under warranty will be inspected, tested, have the fault isolated and repaired wit hin thirty days. The Contractor will use best commercial packaging. No First Article Requirements.
