- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under the number FA4452-02-Q-A251. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. The AMC Contracting Flight requires the following: ruggedized laptop computers 810F certified, Quantity of 52; Combination DVD-ROM/CR-RW drive, Quantity of 52; Battery Charger TB 37, Quantity of 52; Lithuim ION Battery, Quantity of 52; Factory Backlit Keyboard, Quantity of 52; Office XP PRO/Frontpage Enterprise WIN32 English MVL, Microsoft Licenses MFR P/N B68-00076, Quantity of 52; FD Cable For Laptop, Quantity of 52; Rugged black carrying case For laptop, Quantity of 52. The following salient characteristics must be met: Ruggedized Laptop Computer that must meet MIL-STD 810F specifications, Minimum of 800mHz processor, 256MB SDRAM, 32 MB VRAM, Minimum 30 GB hard drive, 3.5 inch floppy disk drive, Removable Hard Drive, Integrated Global Positioning System, minimum 12.1" Transflective Daylight readable LCD display, Moisture Resistant Case, Dust-resistant LCD, keyboard and touch-pad, Scratch-resistant coating, 56k Modem/LAN Card, Windows XP/2000 dual boot, lithium ION battery, ac adapter, recovery CD, and owners manuals. NOTE: ALL ITEMS MUST BY Y2K COMPLIANT. Total cost must include shipping and handling. Delivery is to be no later than 15 Sep 2002 to the locations listed in Attachment 1. The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors -Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror. Offeror's are required to submit a completed copy of Attachment 2, provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, with the following clauses: 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (FEB 1999); 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212). 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332). The clause at 252.212-7001, 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (NOV 2001) applies to this acquisition.
