Description

This acquisition is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to repair or replace various types of roofs at March ARB, California. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to roof repair/replacement of single-ply roofs, clay tile roofs, and synthetic tile roofs for government facilities. Additional miscellaneous work will be required such as (1) repair and/or replace flashing, gutters, downspouts and stucco work. (2) Provide protection and clean-up building interiors, exteriors and surrounding areas during roof work. (3) Repair roof decks and support systems, as required. (4) Clean drains and traps, as needed to ensure proper operation of such systems. The solicitation will be issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and the government anticipates awarding a base period from the date of award through 30 Jun 2003, with two one-year options that will result in a fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract The magnitude of the maximum amount is between $3,500,000 and $5,000,000, including all options. The applicable North American Industry Classification is 235610, and size standard is $12,000,000. The acquisition will be awarded to the offer resulting in the best value to the government using performance price trade-off procedures. Past performance and price are equally important. This solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 15 August 2002, on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov, with a proposal receipt date on or about 18 September 2002. Paper copies will not be available. After the solicitation is posted, interested parties are cautioned to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award.
