- This synopsis serves to replace the previos combined synopsis/solicitation posted on 24 July. The synopsis is as follows: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, and facilities necessary to provide ten (10) B-1 Aircraft Protective Storage Cover Assembly (Top Cover). Cover should be designed to accommodate aircraft with wings in the full fly position. Cover should enclose all upper portion and sides of the aircraft from the nose to the wing root down to 6 inches below the ?drip line?. Approximate size: Length: 145.7 feet, Wingspan: 136.7 feet, Height : 34 feet. The applicable NAICS Code for this solicitation is 314912. The corresponding size standard is 500 employees. This Request for Proposal will be issued in a commercial format using LOW PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. This solicitation will be issued on or about 02 August 2002. It will be available only via the Electronic Procurement System (www.fedbizopps.gov). No paper copies will be furnished.
