Description
Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific proposes to contract the DECKS (EXTERIOR) PRESERVE, FLIGHT DECK AND HANGAR DECK COATING RENEWAL, TEMPORARY SERVICES for USCGC MORGENTHAU (WHEC 722). All work shall be performed at cutter homeport located in Alameda, California, during the period of OCT 08, 2002 and complete OCT 25, 2002. Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued August 16 2002, with a closing date of 10 September 2002. Offerors are advised that the solicitation, specification and other notifications can also be accessed on the web at: www.eps.gov. The solicitation is issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsive sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. For Women-Owned and Disadvantage Business Enterprises, the Department of Transportation (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
