- WORK TO BE DONE: The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for complete installation of the following sanitation items: (1.) Construct steel single pedestal elevated 300,000 gallon water storage tank including tank plumbing, overflow/drainline piping, splash pad, and electrical appurtenances in Black Rock, New Mexico. (2.) Install approximately 264 lineal feet of chain link fencing around newly constructed elevated water storage tank. The interior of the fenced area shall be provided with a gravel cover. (3.) Install 56 lineal feet of 8-inch water line, one 6-inch fire hydrant with gate valve, and three new water main connections. An additive bid item will be the demolition and disposal of the existing elevated tank, including piping and concrete pedestals. This procurement is announced under full & open competition for all interested parties. Estimated contract period is 360 calendar days. Estimated magnitude of construction is $500,000 to $1,000,000. This will be a firm fixed price contract. Award will be based on the lowest bid price from a responsive, responsible contractor. Technical questions should be addressed to LCDR Mark A. Contractors shall ensure that bonding capability for a project of this magnitude is available. Previous work experience in projects of this type will also be considered in determining a bidder's capability to perform this contract.
