Description

This is a competitive, combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. This competitive procurement action is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. The PTO plans to utilize simplified acquisition procedures by awarding a competitively procured purchase order to the offeror which provides the best value to the government considering price, quality, delivery and past performance factors. All interested and qualified vendors should submit a price proposal for the following items under the following terms and conditions: Two (2) QMS Model 4060 Laser Printers with 3,500 sheet input trays (Part #5250158-100); two (2) QMS Large Capacity Input Feeders (Part #1710186-001) and two (2) QMS Large Capacity Output Stackers (Part #2600585-100). The proposed prices for the required items shall include all costs necessary to ship the items to the address indicated in the place of contract performance. Delivery requirements for all of the required items are "earliest available delivery". This announcement constitutes the RFP and is the only solicitation that will be issued. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions of FAR clause 52.212-1. The successful offeror will be awarded a firm fixed price purchase order for the above requirement using simplified procedures. The purchase order will contain the terms and conditions of FAR clause 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS - COMERCIAL ITEMS. Any qualified vendor wishing to propose on the above requirement should submit a firm fixed price proposal, responsive to the requirements of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, via E-Mail to Chris.Hannah@USPTO.GOV no later than 4:00 P.M.
