- Description
- This work involves the downstream repair of the existing floodwater retarding structure, Site No. 100, Chambers Creek Watershed. It consists of the installation of a concrete impact basin, repair to an existing waterway, and the construction of a rock riprap chute. The major items of work (estimated quantities) include: lump sum bid items for mobilization/ demobilization, construction surveys, chain-link safety fence, barbed wire fence, and contractor quality control. The other bid items include: 6,265 cy earthfill, 23 cy drainfill, graded, 37.4 cy concrete, 5,563 lbs steel reinforcement, 10 ft pipe, concrete, pressure, 30" I.D., 869 tons rock riprap, and 654 sq.yd geotextile. Only one award will be made for the entire project. The NAICS Code is 234990. Performance period will be 69 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed, which will be issued approximately October 4, 2002. A 20% bid bond will be required. Performance and Payment bonds of 100% each will be required of the contractor awarded this contract. HUBZone cerified business concerns may submit a bid which, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by the Agency. Price range is from $25,000 to $100,000. The date, time, and location for the site showing will be determined at a later date. Solicitation will be posted and be available to download on or about August 13, 2002.
