- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice: THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR 8(a) CONCERNS ONLY. PROPOSERS MUST BE CERTIFIED AS AN 8(a) CONTRACTOR BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN REGION I PRIOR TO THE SUBMISSION OF THE PROPOSAL. ONLY 8(a) CONTRACTORS CERTIFIED BY SBA IN REGION I WILL BE CONSIDERED. The seed project scope remains unchanged except removal of asbestos pipe insulation (remove the words relatively small amounts). Also, the seed project will be awarded to the lowest price offer from the up to five contractors determined to be the most qualified. Also, subsequent task orders will be competed among the up to five successful offerors. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-MAR-2002).
