- U.S GOVERNMENT SOLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT, ATLANTA, GA. As required by 41 U.S.C. 253(f), this serves to provide notice that the U.S. Government intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for a succeeding lease of approximately 45,624 Rentable Square Feet of office and related space at the Davidson Building, Koger Center, Atlanta, GA. A new contract will be created to reflect a 10-year, 5-year firm term lease. It would cost the Government approximately $685,000 to duplicate the facility. This location houses the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDH) and is co-located with two other buildings at this office park. These Divisions interact on programmatic issues on a daily basis. The close proximity of these three buildings is essential in maintaining the integrity of this programmatic interaction. Many of the Center's goals cross Divisional lines, therefore, co-location is critical. These three buildings share facilities with one another. The Office of the Director (OD) of this Center is located in one of the three buildings and he and his management team interact with all Divisions on a daily basis.
