- IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration" applies to all solicitations issued on / or after 06-01-98. Call 1-888-227-2423 or visit the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ for more information. Quotes are being sought to provide habitability work on board the USNS Mercy located in San Diego CA. A fixed priced contract is anticipated for this RFQ. The RFQ number is N00244-02-T-1040. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04 and DFAR Change Notices effective through 01/29/02. To review this requirement you can go to the NECO site at the address provided herein. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their quote in accordance with the RFQ, but must include the following information: company's complete mailing and remittance addresses, discounts for prompt payment, if any (eg 1% 10 days), the company's cage code, Dun & Bradstreet Number, and Tax payer ID number. All FAR certifications and representations must accompany your quote. Performance is anticipated to begin 29 August 2002 and to be completed by 31 October 2002. The sic code is 3731 (NAICS 336611), and the business size standard is 1000 employees. This announcement is published as a Total Small Business Set-Aside action per FAR 52.219-1 and 52.219-6 (this means you must be a small business, quoting the product of a small-business manufacturer); all eligible, responsible sources may submit an offer.
