- Description
- The purpose of the proposed acquisition is to proved scientific, engineering, and technical support services in support of the TUBA, SEAWOLF, SSN-688, VIRGINIA, and TRIDENT Submarine Programs, and XX21 and other Surface Ship Programs in the areas of ship signatures reduction, signature measurement technology and systems development programs, signature analysis, and non-propulsion electronic syst4ems (NPES). This is a competitive follow-on procurement of services presently being provided under contract N00167-97-D-0042 with DDL Omni Engineering LLC. A five year IDIQ cost reimbursement type contract with an estimated 88,000 labor hours per year is contemplated. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or about 17 September 2002, with receipt of proposals due 45 days thereafter, on approximately 31 October 2002.
