- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, has a requirement to increase the scope for engineering and technical support services in support of prototype development facility (PDF) line of related products for the development of new capabilities for Sonar, Radar, and other Sensor System Systems for Submarine Training Facilities currently provided under Contract No. N00167-98-D-0021. A continuation of services is required in tasking areas such as Interactive Multisensor Analysis Training, Sonar Employment Trainer, Sonar Tactical Decision Aid, Scalable Tactical Acoustic Propagation Loss Engine, and Submarine Multimission Team Trainer Phase 3. The increase in scope will bridge the time period until a new competitive procurement "Simulation and Stimulation of Undersea Warfare Tactical Systems" can be awarded. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, intends to solicit only one source, Presearch, Incorporated located in Fairfax, VA, to expand on the scope of effort for Engineering and Technical support services in support of PDF. Negotiations will be conducted with Presearch, Incorporated on a sole-source basis, and award will be made as a modification to contract N00167-98-D-0021. This action will be processed on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302(b)(1). NUMBERED NOTES: 22
